5 Most Expensive CS:GO Skins

CS:GO is one of the most beloved first-person shooter games on the market. It even managed to hit 1.35 million concurrent players on Steam in February this year. One factor that goes into its popularity is the variety of skins available for players to choose from.

Some skins can even go up to hundreds of thousands of dollars. From rarity and pattern type to unique characteristics, there are many reasons why players are willing to throw money at these in-game weapons.

Here’s a list of the five most expensive skins on CS:GO in 2023.

1. Sport Gloves: Vice / Pandora’s Box

Sport Gloves were added in 2016 as part of the Glove Case update. A Factory New set of these gloves can set you back about $20,000, as there are only 92 Factory New Vice Gloves in existence. Worse wear levels usually don’t go for more than $6,000. Either way, that’s a lot of money for Willy Wonka gloves.

2. M4A4 Howl

Worth up to $30,000, the M4A4 Howl is very rare, due to the fact that it was removed from the game because of copyright issues. Only players who bought it before it was taken away retained this item, making this rifle with a wolf design incredibly sought-after. Goes to show, people are willing to pay a lot of money to prove that they’ve got that dawg in them.

3. Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore

The AWP | Dragon Lore was first added to CS:GO with the Operation Breakout update in July 2014. The skin’s main feature is a fire-breathing dragon. Dragon Lores are rare enough that Factory New versions can go for up to $150,000. Souvenir versions are usually meant to commemorate esports matches. There are only a little over 100 Souvenir AWP Dragon Lores in existence.

4. AK-47 | Case Hardened (Scar Pattern)

The AK-47 | Case Hardened can go for anywhere between $110 and $150,000. The pattern valued at $150,000, the most expensive of them all, is #661 or the “Scar Pattern”.

5. Karambit | Case Hardened

First introduced in 2013 as part of the Arms Deal update, the Case Hardened Karambit has varying prices but the most expensive is the elusive Blue Gem version. It has yet to be sold, but the owner recently rejected an offer for $1.5 million.

With the upcoming shift to Counter-Strike 2, skin prices have climbed. We at Ulti.Asia hope that wherever you get your skins, you get a good deal.
