Dota 2 Bali Major 2023 Ticket Sales Are Live

Ticket sales for the season’s final Dota 2 competition, Bali Major, is now open. And you don’t have to visit a certain third-party website because the Bali Major promoter, IO Esports, has decided to sell it directly on their website, which can be accessed here.

According to the official announcement, Bali Major tickets are divided into two categories: standard and premium. The standard three-day pass costs $388 USD or approximately 5.8 million Rupiah. Meanwhile, the Premium three-day pass costs 888 USD, which is equivalent to 13.4 million Rupiah. Additionally, the premium ticket holders will receive exclusive goods as well as after-party invitations. So far, IO Esports has not announced the venue’s seat capacity.

These categories and prices certainly don’t stray far from previous rumors which said that Bali Major tickets would be sold in three variants at quite expensive prices with limited quantities. This then caused an uproar among the Dota 2 community in Southeast Asia, especially in Indonesia, who had been waiting for a Major competition in SEA after a long time but were gutted by the higher ticket fees compared to Major tickets in North America or Europe.

The group stage of the Bali Major competition will begin on June 29, with the playoffs taking place on July 7-9, offline at Ayana Resort Jimbaran in Bali. This tournament will be crucial for the two home teams, Mansion AG and Boom Esports, who are currently struggling in the Dota Pro Circuit Southeast Asia Tour 3 Division 1.

We reccomend to regularly refresh your browser if there’s an issue with tickets status on IO Esports page, considering that there are many buyers who overload the site and trying to purchase simultaneously at the moment.
