Not yet, friends.

Old G, a team initiated by Johan “N0tail” Sundstein as a ‘comeback’ project to the competitive scene of Dota 2, has secured the last spot in Division 2 for DPC WEU Tour 2 2023 after a stunning win in the Open Qualifiers. The team suffered a setback in the qualifying round of the first tour, but with the addition of Kartik “Kitrak” Rathi and the return of Sebastian “Ceb” Debs, they played remarkably well in the Open Qualifiers for the DPC WEU Tour 2 2023.

Old G was created by N0tail as a fun project to experiment with different playstyles and strategies. The initial lineup of Arif “MSS” Anwar, Volodymyr “NoOne” Minenko, Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok, Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, and Sebastian “Ceb” Debs included some of the most well-known players in the Dota 2 community.

However, after suffering a humiliating loss to the underperforming Monaspa team, the team was at risk of disbanding. MSS left the team, Ceb expressed doubts about continuing, and N0tail stepped down from his position. Shortly after, Old G announced Kitrak as their new player, and Ceb returned to the team.

With new players and new energy, Old G played impressively in the Open Qualifiers, defeating Plasma, KZ, and Puckchamp in succession to reach the grand final. In the end, they defeated team Betrayed handily with a score of 2-0.

Old G’s fans were initially concerned about N0tail’s departure and Kitrak’s addition, but Ceb expressed his contentment with Kitrak’s performance in a recent livestream. The team has experimented with several playstyles ahead of the upcoming tournament, and Old G’s fans can look forward to their return to the DPC competition, raising the bar once again for the Dota 2 community.

The upcoming season is expected to be even more competitive, with several top teams ready to shake things up, including Into the Breach, The Alliance, and the legendary European team, Team Secret. Old G’s fans can expect an exciting tournament as their team competes against these formidable opponents.

In conclusion, Old G’s journey to secure the last spot in Division 2 for DPC WEU Tour 2 2023 was not an easy one. However, with the addition of Kitrak and the return of Ceb, the team was able to bounce back and secure their spot in the tournament. Fans of the team can expect an exciting and competitive tournament ahead.
