Evos’s Tazz apologises to fans for second place at MPL ID 11

EVOS Legends had to settle for a second-place finish after losing to ONIC Esports in the grand finals on Sunday, April 9th, 2023.

Playing at Hall D2 JIEXPO Jakarta Pusat, EVOS Legends suffered a crushing defeat of 0-4 against ONIC.

After the game, EVOS Legends’ jungler, Tazz, apologized to the EVOS Legends supporters for not giving their best and failing to secure the championship title in MPL ID Season 11.

“On behalf of myself and my team, we have done our best,” Tazz said to the EVOS Fams.

“We apologize if our best effort was still not good enough for all of you, and I hope that this result can pay for the tears shed in the previous season,” he added.

EVOS’s journey in MPL ID Season 11

EVOS Legends had a difficult journey while competing in MPL ID Season 11.

During the regular season, their performance was inconsistent, and they finished fifth in the standings with seven wins and seven losses.

However, EVOS Legends’ performance improved during the playoffs, winning all their matches except for the final against ONIC Esports.

They defeated Geek Slate with a score of 3-2 on the first day, lost to ONIC on the second day, and dropped to the lower bracket.

In the lower bracket, they faced RRQ Hoshi and managed to win with a score of 3-2.

EVOS then faced Alter Ego in the lower bracket finals and secured their place in the grand finals with a win.

Unfortunately, in the grand finals, they faced ONIC again and suffered a crushing defeat with a score of 0-4, marking the end of EVOS’s journey in MPL ID Season 11.
