Geek Fam Doubles Down on Filipino Power with the Signing of Former Onic PH Tacticians

Just as the MLBB Pro League Indonesia seemed to hit its stride with the ‘Filipino Frenzy’, Geek Fam, last season’s underdog, is making waves again with two last-minute signings: Mark “Bluffzy” Reyes and Hans “Wurah” Solano from Onic Philippines, joining the upcoming Season 13 competitive circuit in Indonesia.

Bluffzy and Wurah are set to strengthen the coaching team, previously led solely by Ervan “Ervan” Pratama. The former Onic Prodigy guided the team to unprecedented success before announcing his resignation after the end of M5 in the Philippines.

When it comes to top tier competition, Bluffzy brings an impressive record from his time with Onic PH, notably leading the team to the top four in MPL PH S9 despite losing key players like Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol, Mark “Markyyy” Capaccio, Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy, and Jaylord “Hatred” Gonzales.

The signings of Bluffzy and Wurah, however, weren’t totally unexpected for Geek Fam fans. Reports indicated that both players had been collaborating with the team during December’s M5 event. Although Geek Fam’s journey ended prematurely against Blacklist International, their partnership hinted at promising developments for the team.

With Bluffzy and Baloy set to lead the charge, Geek Fam’s performance is expected to skyrocket. Baloy’s positive feedback on Bluffzy’s coaching abilities adds to the anticipation as they gear up for the MPL ID challenge.
