Pendekar Esports’ Head Coach Flysolo Recovers from Coma After Horrific Accident

The head coach of Pendekar Esports has finally woken up following a coma due to a horrific car accident on March 30, 2023. An insider, who also works around the MLBB Development League Indonesia (MDL ID), previously reported that several team members, including Filipino coach Kenneth “Flysolo” Coloma, were in severe condition.

Pendekar Esports was scheduled to play their final game of the regular season against A8 Pabz on March 30, which determined their chances of qualifying for the ID S7 MDL Playoffs. However, while driving from Tangerang to South Jakarta, the car which carrying their coaching and management team collided with a truck on the highway. The accident resulted in the postponement of their match to March 31.

With no head coach or analysts by their side, Pendekar Esports struggled against A8 Pabz, ultimately losing by 2-1. However, thanks to their competitors who were dropping points in their matches last week, they were still able to qualify for the playoffs.

Their social media team has been providing updates on the coaching and management team, who were undergoing intensive care at the hospital, stating that their conditions progressively improved.

The rest of the season seemed bleak for Pendekar Esports when our source told us last weekend that Flysolo, a well-known name in Dota 2 and MLBB, were unconscious and unresponsive.

“Last time I checked, Flysolo was in a coma,” he said. “He can’t get up, can’t do anything. If you look at the condition of the car after the accident, they were so fortunate to make it to the hospital in one piece.”

Fortunately, our source came with an update today, said that Flysolo has finally recovered from the car accident which put him in a coma. Based on his current condition, however, it’s still too early for him to regroup with the team for the MDL ID S7 playoffs, which will likely impact their performance.
