RRQ Hoshi should Undergo Major Overhaul, Says Former Player Rivaldi “R7” Fatah

Former RRQ Hoshi player, Rivaldi “R7” Fatah, has announced that the RRQ squad will undergo a massive overhaul. He made this statement during a live stream with other Mobile Legends content creators.

According to the Explaner player, RRQ’s recent performances have been the main reason for the team’s decision to revamp its roster. The team’s recent loss against EVOS Legends in the lower bracket of the MPL ID Season 11 playoff was just one of the many bitter outcomes they’ve had to endure.

“I have a feeling that in season 12, RRQ will go through a massive overhaul. They are burnt out. They lost in season 10, M4, and season 11. It’s inevitable that they will undergo a major revamp,” said R7.

For context, RRQ Hoshi last won a championship title in MPL ID Season 9. Since then, the team has yet to taste victory.

In Season 11, RRQ showed promising performances in the regular stage and finished second in the standings. They started the playoffs strong, occupying the upper bracket alongside ONIC Esports. However, after losing 1-3 to Alter Ego, they were forced to move to the lower bracket.

In the lower bracket, RRQ faced their archrivals EVOS Legends and suffered a defeat that sent them home early.

This season, RRQ has already made some changes to their player and coaching staff. They recruited Renbo, a midlaner from Bigetron, and occasionally played him during the regular stage. They also officially hired Bangduk, a former coach from Alter Ego, to join their coaching staff.

The team’s decision to overhaul their roster comes as no surprise given their lack of championship wins in recent seasons. It remains to be seen how the revamped RRQ Hoshi will perform in the upcoming MPL ID Season 12.
