Northeption Terminates TenTen’s Contract Due to a Racist Remark Directed Against RRQ Fl1pzjder

Team RRQ’s ace Saibani “fl1pzjder” Rahmad recently revealed that he was subjected to racist remark by a fellow professional Valorant player from a Japanese team Northeption. This elicited a response from the team, which took serious measures in relation to the dispute between the two players.

This happened a few days ago during fl1pzjder’s live streaming session, where he was playing in a team alongside TenTen, a duelist from South Korea who joined Northeption in November 2022. Their squad was lagging behind their opponent at the moment, prompting him to angrily criticise TenTen’s performance.

TenTen, hearing this, got upset and retaliated with profanity directed towards fl1pzjder. He also said “f**k India”, which prompted mixed responses from fl1pzjder audience. Most people focused on Tenten’s offensive comments, while some made fun of him for confusing fl1pzjder, an Indonesian, with an Indian one.

Screenshots of the incident rapidly went viral on the internet, capturing the attention of the Indian people. They asked that Riot Games and the Northeption team take strong action against the players, with the latter responded by investigating the incident. Eventually, Northeption announced that they had terminated Tenten’s contract and promised to “prevent a reccurence of such an incident by raising awareness of compliance and strenghtening our internal control system.”

Tenten immediately responded to the statement, confirming that he was no longer a member of the Northeption team. He argued that Fl1pzjder provoked him during that game but admitted his error and apologised to him, and the Indian Valorant community for his racist comment.
