Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon is returning to smash the competitive Dota scene by setting new records, once again. As of today, December 14 2022, 23savage has officially become the competitive Dota player who first touched 13,000 MMR!

The Talon Esports player showed off his recent milestone on Twitter, where he managed to hit 13,000 MMR after playing for three weeks nonstop.

To this day, there is no track record of comparable achievements, both within and outside SEA region. This outstanding record will undoubtedly inspire 23savage to pursue additional records in the future.

This 13,000 MMR record has received a lot of attention on social media. Some applauded the Talon esports carry’s perseverance in reaching a high level in the SEA region. Some of them even went so far as to explain the gameplay of how he managed to attain 13,000 MMR.

When it comes to records, the moniker of 23savage in Dota 2 MMR race is nothing out of the ordinary. His accomplishment first gained attention when he became the world’s second player, behind Abed Yusof, to reach 11,000 MMR in July 2020. He even gained the widespread nickname as ‘Morphling Spammer’ during this time.

23savage got even more widely known when, at the age of 18, he became the first Dota player to reach 12,000 MMR in March 2021. This exceptional feat drew the attention of several prominent SEA teams. Eventually, he received a lucrative offer from T1.

This new record set by 23savage proves that the SEA region is no less competitive than other major regions when it comes to Dota esports. 23savage’s credibility, however, will be put to the test when the new DPC season begins in January.
