23savage’s Potential Move to European Dota 2 Scene Surfaces as DreamLeague Approaches

Brace yourselves, SEA fans. Looks like we might be saying goodbye to another big Dota 2 star as Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon has entered the transfer rumor mill again, right before the next major tournament kicks off this week. Word on the street is he might be chasing his dream to compete in the top European competition.

So, according to pro Dota 2 caster Rustam “Adekvat” Mavlyutov, a big-shot esports organisation over in Europe is eyeing up 23savage for a potential move. At the earliest, he could be out after the upcoming DreamLeague Season 22 wraps up.

And here’s the kicker: 23 was recently spotted playing on the European server with some popular names like Amer “Miracle” Barkawi, Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov, and Alan “Satanic” Galliarnov. The latter, recognized as a rising star for his impressive MMR rankings in both the SEA and European regions, is reportedly set to join Team Spirit.

But hold up a sec, don’t get too ahead of yourselves. This move might not be happening as fast as we think. 23’s been dabbling in European pubs for a while now, just like other SEA pros, soaking up the competition since 2021. So, he might just be testing the waters before diving into the next DreamLeague.

And remember, this isn’t the first time the 21-year-old sensation has been linked to a European transfer. Back in 2022, after extending his contract with TI, he revealed that he had received an offer from OG but decided to stay in SEA to give The International a shot.

For now, 23’s still repping Aurora Esports, rolling with the same crew from his Talon Esports days. But, let’s be real, the team’s hype has kinda fizzled out lately. They haven’t been hitting the same highs as before, especially with Armel “Armel” Tabios temporarily out due to family matters.
