After nearly two months of anticipation, Echo has broken its silence by unveiling its roster for the upcoming MLBB Pro League Philippines Season 13. The organization has opted to introduce fresh faces from its own academy, signaling a new era.

During this transfer window, the Purple Orca faced the departure of two crucial members. Star player Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, amidst reported internal conflicts, bid farewell in January to join the parent organization Aura Fire in MPL Indonesia. And a few days ago, assistant coach Robert “Trebor” Sanches made a move to rival team and reigning M5 champions, AP Bren.

In response to the departures, the organization promoted Justine “Zaida” Palma, Jhonville “Outplayed” Villar, and Ejjj from their junior squad, the Echo Proud team, to fill in the gaps. And this time, head coach Harold “Tictac” Reyes will be flying solo on the coaching front.

While these three newbies might be young, they have have already showed formidable skills, clinching the MDL PH Season 2 title last year. What’s even more remarkable is Zaida’s standout performances, which not only earned him the MVP title during the regular season but also in the grand final, further solidifying his prowess on the field.

Echo pins its aspirations on these promising talents to reignite its competitive fervor following a string of disappointing results since June 2023. Despite previous triumphs in M4 and MPL PH S11, the team has encountered setbacks, succumbing to underdog opponents in major tournaments like MSC Cambodia 2023, MPL PH S12, and One Esports MPL Invitational 2023 in Jakarta.
