Rumours regarding additional spot for the Mobile Legends competition: Bang Bang Pro League Indonesia Season 12 are spreading. And recent report claimed that three teams are now entering their final phase to reach an agreement with Moonton to compete in their franchise league.

Prior to the MPL ID Season 11, numerous MPL players and coaches stated that MPL ID would introduce a new team in early 2023. This rumour was later confirmed by Public Relations and Communication Manager of Moonton Indonesia Azwin Nugraha, who disclosed that there were six new teams which handed him their offer to compete in the MPL ID in February.

Azwin then stated he had to put their offer on hold during the MPL ID Season 11, considering the tight competition schedule. However, as the MPL ID S11 reached its conclusion in April, the rumours about the new team resurfaced.

Several MPL players’ and coaches’ on the social media claim that Moonton are now entering talk with these new teams for the upcoming MPL Season 12. And, according to one of our closest sources, only three of the six teams are being considered for a spot in the MPL ID Season 12. He also stated that one of the three teams has just met the criteria to participate in that franchise league.

Aside from the new team, he believes that the MPL ID Season 12 tournament will start earlier than expected. The schedule, however, is expected to be released after the MSC 2023 competition, which will take place in the next days.

Most MPL ID fans have been expecting popular MDL ID teams such as GPX, Pendekar Esports, DNS Hammersonic, and Dewa United to step up and compete in the MPL ID Season 12.
