MPL PH S13 Week 2: Bren and Echo Face Rising Challenge from Onic PH

In the second week of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League Philippines Season 13, Bren and Echo asserted their dominance yet again, clinching victories that solidified their top-tier status in the league. However, Onic PH is now closely trailing behind them, keeping the competition fierce and unpredictable.

The reigning champions showcased their prowess on Saturday (3/23), swiftly overpowering RSG Philippines in a brutal 2-0 victory. Their stellar form persisted into Sunday (3/24) against Minana Evos, although facing unexpected resistance from the latter.

In a grueling 34-minute battle, the Hive boys faced formidable opposition from ME, requiring strategic finesse to secure victory. Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo’s timely Minotaur assault broke through ME’s stout defense, clinching victory amidst a final base turret siege. Eager to avoid prolonged engagements, Bren unleashed aggressive tactics in game 2, wrapping up the week with a decisive victory in just 17 minutes.

Echo also notched consecutive victories in week 2, though falling short of Bren’s flawless performance. Despite being caught off guard by RSG PH’s strong draft on Friday (2/23), the Purple Orca boys rebounded swiftly, triumphing in the subsequent games. Two days later, they sailed past TNC Pro with an overwhelming win, relegating their opponents to the lower ranks alongside Omega Esports.

Meanwhile, Onic Philippines kept their winning streak going strong into week 2 and they are shaping up to be quite the surprise package this season. Ever since their loss to Echo in the first week, Onic PH has been on fire, bagging flawless wins against ME, Smart Omega, and RSG PH. It looks like the Yellow Porcupine boys are dead set on proving they have got a whole new mindset this time around.

With Bren and Echo leading the pack, anticipation mounts for their upcoming clash in the following week. As Onic PH aims to extend its winning streak against Blacklist International and TNC Pro, the stage is set for potential upsets and thrilling showdowns in the MPL PH S13.
