Disguised Blasts Off to APAC, Pens a New Partnership with Bleed Esports in Singapore

Surprise! Canadian esports sensation Disguised has officially left the North American Valorant scene for greener pastures in Southeast Asia. This move marks a homecoming for streamer-owner Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, who aims to make an entry in the VCT Pacifics under the wings of Bleed Esports.

Propelled by Toast’s Twitch popularity, Disguised burst onto the scene in early 2023, recruiting an NA Challengers League dream team with Joshua “steel” Nissan, Joseph “clear” Allen, Michael “nerve” Yarrow, and Jacob “yay” Whiteaker. Within days, they stormed the Challengers NA Split 1 event, vanquishing fan favorites Oxygen Esports in the final and gathering a dedicated fanbase.

However, fortune turned fickle. Disguised stumbled through the rest of 2023, missing NA Split 2 and falling at the first hurdle in the North American Game Changers. By June, struggling to secure sponsors, Toast disbanded his Valorant squad. Many expected a complete exit from the competitive scene, but Disguised surprised everyone today with a Bleed partnership.

As he set his sights on the APAC stage, Toast aims to help Bleed Esports conquer the VCT Pacific League in South Korea over the next two seasons, while potentially helping Bleed to earn new followers from NA region. This means Disguised will leverage Bleed’s resources and infrastructure in Singapore as both organizations embark on this exciting venture.

“Building DSG into a global brand is a passion project,” said Toast. “Expanding into Asia has always been a dream, and returning to my childhood home in Malaysia from ages 1 to 13 makes it extra special. Huge thanks to Bleed for their incredible support and for helping us build a phenomenal roster. Get ready, SEA region, Disguised is coming!”

The new Disguised lineup welcomes three former Bleed players – Bryce “Bryce” Lee, Wong “JayH” Heng, and Tyler “juicy” Aeria – alongside their countryman Wayne “wayne” Chang and Malaysian in-game leader Sirajul Azrie “Riza” Adly. Rounding out the team is Alexander “Alexr” Frisch, former ace of Cowana Gaming from Germany, who will serve as tactician.
