Honkai Star Rail Build Guide — Lynx

The youngest Landau sibling has finally made her appearance as a playable character in Honkai Star Rail. Not only is Lynx Landau someone whom fans have been keeping an eye out for since the game’s launch, she’s also the first-ever Quantum-type healer.

If you were fortunate enough to get at least one copy of Lynx during Fu Xuan’s ongoing Warp Event, here’s a quick and easy guide on how to build the brand new 4-star healer:

Light Cone

Given that Lynx isn’t a 5-star character, she unfortunately doesn’t have a signature 5-star Light Cone but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any existing weapons perfect for her kit!

Probably the closest thing to a signature Light Cone for Lynx would be the Nameless Honor-exclusive 4-star weapon: Warmth Shortens Cold Nights. Not only does it feature Lynx herself in the art, it’s also just a really solid Light Cone for her kit in general.

This weapon will increase her Max HP by a set percentage and also restores all allies’ HP equal to a set percentage of their own Max HP every time Lynx uses a Basic ATK or Skill.

(Do note that since it’s only available from Nameless Honor, you do have to spend real money to acquire this Light Cone. You should only consider this option if you’re comfortable with the prospect of investing money into the game!)

An option that can never go wrong for Abundance Path characters will, of course, be the 5-star standard weapon: Time Waits for No One. Not only does this option increase Lynx’s Max HP and Outgoing Healing by a set percentage, it also has the bonus effect of causing healed allies to deal extra damage based on the amount they were healed by.

Of course the availability of this Light Cone relies on how lucky (or, rather, unlucky) you are with your gacha pulls. If you’re patient enough, though, you can also exchange a copy for 600 Undying Starlight in the store.

  • Post-Op Conversation

Perhaps the most easy-to-acquire Light Cone in this list is Post-Op Conversation. If you’ve been pulling in the game at least somewhat regularly, odds are you probably have a copy or two of this already.

It’s also a very solid weapon for Lynx since it boosts both her Energy Regeneration Rate and Outgoing Healing (when she uses her Ultimate) by a set percentage.

Relics

  • 2-piece Longevous Disciple + 2-piece Passerby of Wandering Cloud

The most ideal Relic set combo for Lynx, this increases her Max HP (Longevous Disciple) and increases Outgoing Healing (Passerby of Wandering Cloud).

As for Planar Ornament sets,

The best set would be Fleet of the Ageless since it increases her Max HP by 12% as well as increases all allies’ ATK by 8% if Lynx’s SPD is 120 or higher.

Fleet of the Ageless can be acquired from World 3 of Herta’s Simulated Universe

Broken Keel is a decent alternative as it increases her Effect Res by 10% and boosts all allies’ CRIT DMG by 10% if her overall Effect Res is 30% or higher.
