Female Gamers Enter Spotlight as Snapdragon Pro Series MLBB 2024 Expands

The highly anticipated ESL Snapdragon Pro Series MLBB 2024 is set to make its official return very soon, promising a larger prize pool and increased participation compared to the previous season. In a groundbreaking move, the Pro Series will also introduce a special competition exclusively for female gamers.

Last year, the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 succesfully amassed large viewership numbers, emerging as one of the most-watched MLBB esports events globally. With overwhelming positive feedback and impressive attendance figures, ESL is poised to replicate the euphoria of last season with even grander surprises.

Hosted by the tournament organizer ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), the Pro Series will open doors to new opportunities for players across diverse regions. EFG has confirmed separate circuits across Asia-Pacific, Europe, MENA, and Latin America, setting the stage for intense competition and global spectacle.

In addition to the Pro Series 2024, ESL has expanded its horizon by integrating MLBB into its Mobile Masters circuit and unveiling an untitled female-only MLBB pro circuit. The Mobile Masters will feature a substantial $200,000 prize pool, while the female-only competition boasts a respectable $30,000 prize pool. However, participation in the latter is currently limited to contestants from the Asia Pacific and Japan regions.

With a remarkable total prize pool of $780,000, ESL’s MLBB tournament series for the year ahead is poised to captivate audiences worldwide. As anticipation builds, ESL will soon unveil further details regarding the venues and complete schedules of the planned competitions.

This initiative from ESL is poised to elevate the visibility and opportunities for professional female MLBB players on the international stage. Notably, the global MLBB women’s competition, MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI), held in Indonesia last year, witnessed a significant surge in viewership. The reigning champions of MWI, Bigetron Era, have made history by becoming the first team to break the gender barrier and compete in the MDL ID Season 10 this year.
